Alice's Charity Project
About This Campaign
I am not a professional singer or dancer, but I have always had a passion for the performing arts. All my performances are self-taught and the result of countless hours of rehearsals after work.
My performances are diverse and brings one of the most entertaining busking acts to the heart of the city. My musical acts include vocals, piano, flute, and guitar. My dance pieces include hip hop, ballroom, latin, salsa, cha cha, tango, tap, jive, charleston, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, jazz, MandoPop, and many more to come!
Recently, my charity project has grown so much that my performances generate more donations per day than my pay for a day at the office. In order to maximize my contribution to society, I have taken a long-term leave from my job and donated all my life savings from 3 years of working at PwC Canada. Although my bank account nets out empty, I am the happiest I've ever been.
Nobody gets out of this life alive, and you never know if today is your last day.
I believe that a successful charity campaign is defined by more than just the dollar amount you raise. It is also about raising awareness and inspiring others to take action. Toronto's Yonge-Dundas intersection sees more than 100,000 people passing by everyday and more than 50 million shoppers visit the Eaton Centre per year. I hope to demonstrate the impact one individual can make and I want to inspire others to chase their dreams.
To stay updated on my performing schedule, announcements are always made on my Instagram @aliceli_official
If you cannot make it in person to my charity performance, I hope you will make a direct donation here. Let's change the world, one step at a time.
