About This Campaign

Hi, thanks for checking us out! Welcome to Miss Face of Humanity & SOS Children's Villages Charity Partnership, where our aim is to provide support, raise funds and spread awareness of our humanitarian efforts, need for change and powerful message of Love.

We recognize the impactful actions contributed to this important cause, and with your support, hope to send more youth and supplies to school, get involved with education and needed social work, and strengthen families to uplift communities. Together, we can make a difference, and any little bit helps! Follow my campaign journey on our Takeover Tour!

Campaign to Support SOS Children's Villages

SOS Children’s Villages offers safe and nurturing family homes to around 80,000 orphaned and abandoned children and youth in 134 countries around the world. Since 1949, SOS Children’s Villages has been guided by a basic principle: a loving home for every child.

I am raising funds in support of the Family Strengthening Program in Ondangwa, Namibia!

The best way to protect children from being abandoned is to act early and help them and their families to prevent the crises that lead to child abandonment and neglect. The Family Strengthening Program  in Ondangwa Namibia does just that!

As a  community-outreach program, The  Family Strengthening Program empowers vulnerable families, especially mothers who struggle to care for their children. This involves a social and economic intervention that leads to the family’s attainment of self-reliance and the immediate improvement of conditions for vulnerable children.

Majority of the beneficiaries of the Family strengthening program  are unemployed parents or caregivers, such as single mothers struggling to take care for their children or others who are caring for the children of family members affected by illnesses such as HIV/AIDS.

The Family Strengthening program offers workshops and activities on topics that aim to improve the lives of children and families such as life skills development, positive parenting, awareness on tuberculosis, malaria, HIV/AIDS, behavioral changes, skills training, micro enterprise initiatives, financial management, etc.  Parents and caregivers are supported to find employment, and training in income generating activities.

The Family Strengthening program has achieved a lot already, but more can and must be done to support more families at risk of abandoning their children.
