Carleton's University 30 Day Challenge

About This Campaign

The idea of the University 30 Day Challenge is to bring students groups, societies, athletic teams and alumni, together with the larger community and empower them to make a difference in the lives of orphaned children around the world. The U30C is a campus wide campaign that dares students to raise funds through an online peer to peer platform and campus fundraisers. The 30 Day Challenge works because it builds school spirit and unity through empowering and engaging students through its fun and competitive nature.

Hey Ravens!

Welcome to the first ever University 30 Day Challenge

The U30C is a campus wide campaign that encourages students to come together for a united cause; making sure no child is left behind. We are fundraising to sponsor villages that house vulnerable children in some of the most marginalized places.

The charity we are working with is SOS Children's Villages, a non-religious and non-political international charity that deals with orphaned and abandoned children.

SOS Children's Villages provides children in need with a caring, loving, and secure family environment where all their needs from food, health, shelter, and education are met. Moreover, SOS has Villages in 134 different countries; ensuring that the U30C campaign will be a truly global initiative.

Each participant/ team can select the location of where their contribution is directed.

Young people are the drivers for social change! This campaign is a testament to this.

This initiative is an incredible opportunity that builds school spirit and unity through empowering and engaging students through its fun and competitive nature. Beyond that, this program has the power to change lives. This campaign creates endless opportunities and connects students with other incredible people with different backgrounds, interests and passions.

All in all, The 30 Day University Challenge  provides opportunities for the Carleton community to stand united!

Time and time again the Carleton Community demonstrates how we stand united as Ravens, but it’s time for us to use our strength and spread our wings in order to make a difference! So lets take off and conquer together!“
